Loose, comfortable clothing is ideal as it allows easy access to areas that may need treatment. If treatment requires you to remove some clothing, I can leave the room while you undress and provide towels so you remain comfortable and covered throughout. Your privacy and dignity are always respected.
This depends on the condition you're seeking treatment for, how long you've had your symptoms and your overall health.
Some people notice improvements after just a few sessions, while longer-standing or more complex conditions may benefit from a course of treatment. After your initial consultation, I'll discuss a treatment plan that's tailored to your individual needs.
Many people leave feeling deeply relaxed, while others feel refreshed or energised. Some notice improvements over the following few days, such as better sleep or feeling generally calmer.
Occasionally, you may feel a little tired after treatment or notice your symptoms change slightly before they begin to improve. If you have any concerns after your appointment, you're always welcome to get in touch.

Many people also report feeling calmer, more balanced and and experiencing an improved sense of wellbeing following treatment. As every person is different, the benefits of acupuncture can vary from one individual to another.
