Traditional Gua Sha - 45 mins

£55

Gua Sha is a straightforward and effective traditional healing technique practiced widely in China, Vietnam, and other parts of East Asia. During a gua sha treatment, a special tool, usually made of jade or horn or sometimes ceramic tools, is used to stroke the skin in a particular body area. The movement squashes the soft tissue, bringing stagnated blood and toxins to the surface where the blood supply can carry them away, reducing blockages and facilitating improved circulation.

Massage oil is applied to the skin's surface to stop any discomfort from friction.

With an effective gua sha treatment, the skin afterward has a bruised look as all the stagnant blood and metabolic waste products come to the surface. The petechiae (the medical name for this marking that comes to the surface) typically fades after 3 days.

It can be extremely effective for muscular issues
